Reported Opinions:
- Motion to recall the mandate denied by Robbins v. State, 149
S.W.3d 871 (Ark. 2004) (held that any possible error from jury's making
inconsistent findings as to existence of mitigating factor was harmless).
- Direct appeal re-opened, and further briefing ordered, to assess alleged
error stemming from jury's inconsistent verdict forms during penalty phase. See Robbins v. State, 114 S.W.3d 217 (Ark. 2003).
- Sentence and conviction affirmed on direct appeal by State v. Robbins,
27 S.W.3d 419 (Ark. 2000).

interest, and new amicus appointed, by State v. Robbins, 9 S.W.3d
500 (Ark. 2000).
- Supreme Court held that it was obligated to assess whether the record
demonstrated "fundamental error," notwithstanding a defendant's request for the
death penalty. Amicus appointed and further briefing ordered. See
State v. Robbins, 5 S.W.3d 51, 55 (Ark. 1999)
- Mandate recalled, execution stayed, and further briefing ordered on issue
of Mr. Robbins' mother's standing to contest the conviction and death sentence.

post-conviction remedies affirmed by State v. Robbins, 985 S.W.2d 296
(Ark. 1999).
