THEODORE WHITE, JR.

In February of 1999, Ted White was wrongly convicted of sexually molesting his
12-year-old daughter and was sentenced to life.  After his conviction, it was discovered
that Ted's wife was involved in a sexual relationship with the detective who was in charge
of the investigation.  PILC lawyers persuaded the Missouri Court of Appeals to grant
Ted a new trial, and then convinced 12 jurors that Ted is completely innocent of the
charges.  He was finally acquitted and set free on February 7, 2005, after nearly six years
of wrongful incarceration.
